Former USWNT star Megan Rapinoe has received a mixed response over her post about Lucy Bronze and Spain's Ona Batlle after England won the Women's Euro 2025 final.
The Lionesses won 3-1 on penalties against Spain after the match finished 1-1 at the end of extra time.
Chloe Kelly scored the winning penalty for Sarina Wiegman's side, while goalkeeper Hannah Hampton made two saves.

England are only the second nation, after Germany, to win consecutive Women's Euros titles - though are the first since the expanded 16-team format was brought in.
After the match, Lionesses right-back Bronze revealed that she had played the entire tournament with a fractured tibia.
Her left leg was heavily taped prior to the celebrations, with the Chelsea defender having been withdrawn during extra time.

Bronze also consoled several Spain stars after the penalty shootout, having played alongside them during her two-year spell at Barcelona between 2022 and 2024.
She is known to be close friends with former Manchester United right-back Batlle, who rejoined Barca back in 2023.
They were then pictured together leaving St Jakob-Park after the trophy presentation.
Rapinoe, who was watching the match inside the stadium, uploaded an Instagram story showing Bronze and Batlle sat on the pitch shortly after the shootout ended.

She captioned the post: "And also gays over everyone... I love it here."
The pair went on holiday together prior to the tournament, posting several photos to their own Instagram page.
Bronze, though, has never publicly addressed rumours of a relationship.

Those rumours have been repeatedly referenced by both English and Spanish media outlets during the Women's Euro 2025 tournament.
And though there was a mixed reaction to Rapinoe's post from fans, there was some criticism surrounding her caption.
One wrote: "Not Megan Rapinoe outing Lucy Bronze and Ona Batlle lmao."
A second said: "You're not helping the sport by focusing it on players' personal lives."

And a third asked: "Are they out like that?"
