Uruguay star Manuel Ugarte had a yellow card 'rescinded' after being bizarrely booked twice without being sent off against England.
Ugarte was booked on 70 minutes for a foul, before then receiving a second booking for apparent dissent towards the referee.
The Manchester United midfielder was then allowed to be substituted on 87 minutes by Uruguay boss Marcelo Bielsa.
According to ITV commentator Sam Matterface, the fourth official stated that the yellow card had been 'rescinded', meaning that Ugarte had only been booked once.

"The fourth official tells us, no yellow card now," Matterface stated.
"Now, the fourth official says that yellow card doesn't exist now, because if it did he'd have to be sent off.
"We had to hesitate, because it was a Graham Poll incident that, wasn't it? They are now suggesting that hasn't taken place."
A new rule will be implemented at the World Cup that allows second yellow cards to be rescinded by VAR, but it is not yet in place.
Presenter Mark Pougatch subsequently confirmed that the first yellow card shown to Ugarte was in fact meant for Jose Maria Gimenez - which seemingly cleared up some of the confusion.
England manager Thomas Tuchel was asked about the incident post-match, but said he hadn't been made aware of it and instead argued that Ronald Araujo could have been sent off for a strong challenge on Phil Foden.
England went on to concede a late penalty to draw 1-1 after Ben White had put them ahead late in the second half.
White was the guilty party in the penalty area - though Tuchel did not think he had done enough to give away a spot kick.
"In the end he was a bit too greedy in his defensive actions," Tuchel told ITV. "But still I think it's not a penalty."
