One publication believes it has England’s line-up for their European Championship opener against Serbia.

The Three Lions kick off their Euro 2024 campaign against Serbia on Sunday evening, with Gareth Southgate’s men entering the tournament among the favourites.

According to talkSPORT, England’s opening lineup of the tournament will include Jordan Pickford in goal, protected by a back four of Kyle Walker, John Stones, Marc Guehi and Kieran Trippier.

Indeed, Stones had missed training earlier this week due to illness, but the City star came through Saturday’s session alongside all 26 members of Southgate’s squad.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will allegedly play in central midfield alongside Declan Rice with Jude Bellingham further forward.

Saka, meanwhile, has recovered from a groin problem which kept him out of Arsenal’s last game of the season and is set to start despite the lethal club form of Chelsea's Cole Palmer.

Premier League Player of the Year Phil Foden is set to start on the left while skipper Harry Kane will lead the line.

Ahead of the game, Southgate, who hinted that Euro 2024 may be his final tournament as England manager earlier this week, said: "In terms of our standing, we have already seen how Germany and Spain have played.

“There are some exceptional teams here. We have to be exceptional to progress through the group and our main focus is our first game. It is obvious how important that is."

Meanwhile, Kane, who now plays his club football in Germany with Bayern Munich, added: "I think every tournament possesses different expectations.

"We have earned the right to be classed among the favourites. Looking at ourselves both individually and as a team, we have done lots of things well at previous tournaments but ultimately we are here to win."
