England fans have voiced their anger after Thomas Tuchel left out two players from his latest squad for their World Cup qualifier next month.

Tuchel began his reign as England boss with back-to-back World Cup qualifier victories over Albania and Latvia at Wembley Stadium.

Last March, they beat Albania 2-0 before dispatching Latvia 3-0.

The Three Lions resume their World Cup qualifying campaign on June 7 when they face Andorra. Tuchel's side also have a friendly against Senegal scheduled on June 10, which takes place at Nottingham Forest's City Ground.

There will be a seven-day England training camp from June 4-10, which includes the two fixtures.

Ahead of the national team's two games, the German boss has named his squad and he has made some bold calls.

Ivan Toney, who joined Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli last summer, has been recalled to the England party after missing out on Tuchel's first squad.

He returns to the international fold for the first time since Euro 2024.

Toney, 29, has enjoyed a prolific campaign in the Middle East, scoring an impressive 28 goals across all competitions this season.

Defender Trevoh Chalobah has received his first senior call-up, having impressed at Chelsea this season.

Elsewhere, Jordan Henderson and Dan Burn remain in the squad, having been included in Tuchel's first party.

The 51-year-old has also named forwards Noni Madueke and Ollie Watkins.

But there is no room for West Ham United's Jarrod Bowen, who has scored 12 Premier League goals this season.

Not to mention Adam Wharton, who shone in Crystal Palace's FA Cup triumph over Manchester City.

Needless to say, England fans made their feelings known about Tuchel snubbing Bowen and Wharton.

One X user fumed: "No Bowen is criminal."

A second wrote: "No Bowen & Wharton is crazy! Henderson & Toney shouldn't be in the squad."

A third added: "Bowen snubbed.... you have gotta be joking me."

A fourth slammed: "Can’t believe he’s not called up Wharton and is picking Jordan f**king Henderson again."

Another commented: "Adam Wharton is exactly what this England squad needs, what does he have to do?"

Tuchel has been dealt a slight selection headache with the Club World Cup taking just five days after their friendly against Senegal.

The expanded competition, held in the United States runs from June 15 to July 13 and features Premier League duo Manchester City and Chelsea as well as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

The clubs involved in the tournament are eager for nations - not just England - to release their players from June's international window.

Tuchel, however, has named a host of Chelsea players, with no Man City players making his squad. Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is poised to join Real, and Bayern forward Harry Kane have also been selected.
