Fans are convinced two England players have booked their spots for Euro 2024 following their stellar performances against Belgium.

England played out a 2-2 draw against Belgium at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday.

It comes just days after the Three Lions suffered a crushing 1-0 defeat to Brazil.

Gareth Southgate's side went behind as Youri Tielemans opened the scoring after pouncing on a Jordan Pickford mistake.

On his full international debut, Ivan Toney levelled proceedings from the spot to score his first England goal.

Belgium regained the lead through Tielemans, who headed home from Romelu Lukaku's cross.

Jude Bellingham grabbed a late equaliser as he slotted home in injury time.

England fans brutally took aim at one of their own players, but people on social media also reckon two players have booked their places for this summer's competition.

They believe Kobbie Mainoo and Ivan Toney have done enough to be named in Southgate's squad for Euro 2024.

The Manchester United midfielder impressed in the middle of the park, with a compilation of his outing making for incredible viewing.

On the 18-year-old, Joe Cole said: "For a lad at 18 to do that at Wembley... fantastic."

Toney also shone as fans think he should be on the plane to Germany.

One X user tweeted: "Mainoo was called up the England squad a week ago today and already has rival fans begging him to play in the Euros."

A second wrote: "Get Mainoo in bubble wrap. He’s got to be a contender to start in this side the EUROs. He is ready for this level."

A third added: "Ivan Toney’s performance tonight has pretty much guaranteed his place at the Euros."

A fourth said: "Ivan Toney has to go to the Euros, he is a step above Ollie Watkins. Also Mainoo is on the plane lol."

A fifth stated: "For his penalty prowess, you'd have to take Ivan Toney to the Euros."

Another commented: "Ivan Toney has to be in the squad for the euros, we’ll need him for penalties!"
