A new 'time traveller' has arrived and shared footage of England in the World Cup final, it’s finally coming home

A new ‘time traveller’ has arrived on the scene and issued a bold new prediction for England at the World Cup after the Three Lions reached the last 16 on Tuesday.

Marcus Rashford scored a second-half brace, including a sensational free-kick, and Phil Foden added his name to the scoresheet as Wales were dumped out of the World Cup.

Following their final Group B win at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, England will now face Group A runners-up Senegal on Sunday at the Al-Bayt Stadium.

Should England manage to beat Senegal in the last 16, then Gareth Southgate’s men face even tougher opposition in the quarter-finals in Qatar.

England would play on 10th December against the winners of Group D, which is led by 2018 World Cup champions France, or the runners-up of Group C, which is the spot currently occupied by Argentina.

And should Southgate’s side manage to make it through the quarter-finals, then England would play on 14th December in the World Cup semi-finals.

However, Croatia, Japan, Portugal and Switzerland are all current provisional opponents for England in a potential semi-final matchup.

A TikTok user, claiming to be a ‘time traveller,’ has now predicted that England will make it to their first World Cup final since 1966 (check it out in the video above).

Cristiano Ronaldo will see his Portugal side LOSE to England in the 2022 World Cup, according to this time traveller’s prediction.

According to the self-proclaimed time traveller, England will beat Portugal 2-0 in the final of the World Cup.

The prediction suggested that England captain Harry Kane scored in the first half against Portugal before Mason Mount doubled the Three Lions’ lead six minutes from full-time.

England fans were quick to buzz off the excitement of the video and believe that football is ‘finally coming home.’

A fan posted: “Imagine this is the final. I will fall in love.”

“You can dream,” someone else simply said.

Another wrote: “I’ve bet this for [the] final.”

A fourth added: “I hope that this happens for real.”

However, some fans are from convinced that England will win the World Cup, let alone reach the final in Qatar.

“If England win the World Cup, I’ll shave my head,” one fan said.

Someone else added: “Nearly fell for it but then I saw Mount.”

While another TikTok commenter wrote: “It is going to be Spain and Germany.”

And one fan posted: “Ha! You’re a dreamer, mate.”
