England fans worried as one of their stars arrives at rival training camp even though he's meant to play for England

He got fans online talking following his post on social media.

Fans fear Folarin Balogun could opt to represent ANOTHER national team having rocked up at training camp following his England snub.

The 21-year-old has starred on loan from Arsenal this season, scoring an impressive 18 goals in all competitions in France with Stade Reims.

But his efforts away from the Premier League weren't enough for Gareth Southgate to call him up to the England squad ahead of their fixtures against Italy and Ukraine.

He reacted to being omitted from the national team as he shared a cryptic post on Instagram: "In life, go where you're appreciated."

Balogun, however, earned a spot in the England under-21s squad, but was forced to withdraw through injury.

And his recent activity has sent social media into overdrive, fueling speculation he could snub the Three Lions to represent USA.

The forward uploaded a picture of himself at the national team's training base in Orlando, Florida.

They're training in The Sunshine State ahead of CONCACAF games matches against Grenada and El Salvador.

Balogun's Instagram post got fans online talking.

One Instagram user wrote: "COME HOME."

A second wrote: "You know what to do."

A third added: "USMNT waiting for you boss."

A fourth said: "That Weah x Balogun link up is gonna be wild."

Another commented: "Go where you're appreciate."

Balogun appears to be a wanted man on the international stage following his prolific ways in Ligue 1 this campaign.

As for his club future, he's impressed Mikel Arteta and believes he'll speak to him at the end of the season.

"It's really positive that he could say these things and I mean I'm sure we'll speak at the end of the season and we'll have a lot of things to discuss," he said. "But it's nice that he's watching and paying attention to what's going on, and yeah it's good."

He added: "There's discussions that need to take place and it's not a decision that will only be with me. The club will let me know their point of view and I'm sure we'll come to an agreement."
