EA have released a statement addressing an 'issue' on the launch day of EA FC 25.

Servers went down during peak hours on the opening day of the game's release as EA took to social media media to release a statement.

It read: "We're aware of issues affecting connectivity on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Our team is actively investigating, and we'll share updates as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."

It comes after EA FC 25 players uploaded images of a screen that popped up amid issues affecting connectivity.

"Warming up..." the on-screen message read. "Our matchday turnstiles are a bit busy right now -- but don't worry, you'll be in the stadium soon," while revealing a 'position in queue'.

Another message read: "EA servers are unavailable right now. Please try again later."
