Footage shows every angle of Dimitri Payet's 'physics-defying' free-kick against Crystal Palace

Six years on and it's still blowing people's minds.

Dimitri Payet scored one of the greatest free-kicks in Premier League history when he dipped and curled the ball over a seven-man Crystal Palace wall to find the net.

Signed from Marseille for £10.7 million in the summer of 2015, the Frenchman was unplayable for West Ham in his debut season.

Not only did he bag nine goals and 12 assists for Slaven Bilic's side, but he provided The Hammers with some much-needed swagger throughout that campaign as they finished in seventh place, just eight points off the top three.

In fact, Payet was deservedly named in the PFA Team of the Year for his contributions.

From that rabona assist for Michail Antonio at Watford to that magnificent individual effort against Middlesbrough, the talented attacking midfielder gave millions of fans some incredible moments in the famous claret and blue.

But it was that free-kick against Palace that will go down as arguably his greatest goal for The Hammers.

It's been six years since he scored this peach of a goal but we still can't get enough. JUST LOOK AT IT [from every angle].

In addition to all these angles, somebody in the crowd decided to film Payet stepping over the ball on that day in 2016. And thank goodness they did. This deserves more than 250,000 views.

The fact that he only spent two seasons in the Premier League still hurts.

There was a little more magic in the 2016/17 campaign but halfway through the campaign, Payet decided he wanted out and longed for a return to French club Marseille.

That being said, he did score another classic against Middlesbrough. How good was he, though?

Let us know your thoughts on Payet and his free-kick against Crystal Palace in the comments. I don't know about you but we can't stop watching it.
