A sports broadcaster has apologised for making a joke about David Beckham amid his feud with son Brooklyn Beckham.
Ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar David has been embroiled in a feud with his eldest son, Brooklyn, who escalated things when he shared an explosive six-page statement on social media.
He said he has no wishes to reconcile with his parents, including Victoria Beckham, and is standing up for himself 'for the first time in his life'.
David addressed his son's astonishing attack by saying 'let children make mistakes'.

He didn't name Brooklyn or refer specifically to the controversy, but he reflected on the 'mistakes' made by his children.
Speaking to Andrew Ross on CNBC's Squawk Box, the 50-year-old said: "You have to let your children make mistakes. They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes.
"That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids - you sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well."

Several critics have weighed in on the ongoing feud, including Piers Morgan, who slammed the Beckham family.
TalkSPORT's Shebahn Aherne also chimed in as she recalled the time she interviewed the former England captain.
She reminisced about her chat with David, revealing he put his hand on her arm, prompting her to 'sniff' that part of her arm.

On X, Shebahn wrote: "My own #beckham story. I interviewed him a couple of years ago for @talkSPORT drive... he put his hand on my arm and asked me to repeat a question. I sniffed that bit of arm several times on the train home. #brooklynbeckham."
Shebahn was clearly making light of the situation, but her joke didn't go down well among some people online.
She shared a second post on X after making her Beckham joke by apologising for 'objectifying men'.
"Apologies for the offence caused with this," she wrote in another post. "It was a wee joke. Not here to offend anyone or objectify men. Deepest, sincerest apologies. X."
