Cristiano Ronaldo owns the world's most expensive Rolex watch

Cristiano Ronaldo owns the world's most expensive Rolex watch

Ronaldo was wearing a hell of a timepiece whilst he watched Tommy Fury's win over Jake Paul, but it's not his only impressive watch.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest earning athlete in the world, so it makes sense that he would own the world's most expensive Rolex watch.

Ronaldo hit the top of the charts when he signed for Al Nassr earlier in the season, swapping sporting prestige for a huge pay packet after leaving Manchester United.

Things have gone pretty well for him so far, scoring a hat-trick at the weekend and then getting to take in a spot of boxing in the Middle East.

Of course he might have preferred to have been at Wembley, as his former side won their first piece of silverware in nearly six years, beating Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final.

Ronaldo might have been in attendance to see Tommy Fury beat Jake Paul but, like many of us watching on television, he didn't look too impressed with what he'd seen.

Some noticed the frankly ridiculous accessory the 38-year-old was wearing whilst watching the bout, a $1.5 million watch made by Frank Muller, but it's not his only impressive timepiece.

According to the Daily Star, the former Real Madrid star owns the most expensive Rolex in the world, coming in at £371,000, and covered in diamonds.

The Rolex GMT Master Ice, bought by him in 2019, is made up of 18-karat white gold while the bezel and band are comprised of nearly 30 karats of expertly cut diamonds.

The diamonds cover pretty much every inch of the watch, and you probably wouldn't walk around your average neighborhood with it on.

Watches aren't the only thing the former Juventus star likes to spend his money on, and he does have a lot of it to spend in fairness.

Back in October 2021, he spent €9.5 million on a supercar, a Bugatti Centodieci, with only 10 of the edition even being made by Bugatti.

And it's not always the forward who buys his cars, with partner Georgina Rodriguez deciding that a Lynx Africa kit wasn't enough for Christmas last year, instead buying him a Rolls Royce.

Ronaldo could still technically end up with a Carabao Cup winner's medal, after his old club's win, despite the fact he didn't play a single game.

According to the Football League's rules, the team are given 30 medals and they can distribute them how they please, although it seems unlikely anyone at Old Trafford will be in a rush to send one to Saudi Arabia.
