Cristiano Ronaldo 'gave Man United employee his Porsche' in exchange for Pussycat Doll's phone number

A former Manchester United employee claims he got Cristiano Ronaldo both Dannii Minogue and Kimberly Wyatt's phone numbers in exchange for his Porsche supercar.

Ronaldo's first spell at Old Trafford was between 2003 and 2009, where he soon developed into a world-beater and one of the most marketable athletes.

In 2007 he briefly dated former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale actress Gemma Atkinson and had the "the most English date" ever when they drank cups of tea and watched Only Fools and Horses.

But Ronaldo also had his eyes on other celebrity women - and recruited a United masseuse in order to get closer to them.

Rod Thornley claims that he was able to get the digits of Dannii Minogue, judge on X-Factor and sister of pop sensation Kylie, upon Ronaldo's request.

The two supposedly went on a couple of dates but then things fizzled out.

"He [Ronaldo] is having a massage with me and on the TV is the X Factor," Thornley said on the Under the Cosh podcast.

"'Who is this girl?' It was Dannii Minogue, the sister of Kylie Minogue. 'Okay, can you get me her number?' I'm like, 'I'm a masseur of Man United'.

"But I am a man of many means and within like four or five days, I've got Dannii Minogue's number on my phone. So I hand it to him. They went on a couple of dates and whatever. Nothing came of it in the end."

Ronaldo wasn't done there, though. He also liked the look of Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls during a performance on the singing reality show and asked Thornley to work his magic for a second time.

He was on his way to Real Madrid in a then-world-record £80 million switch but Thornley wanted something in return - Ronaldo's Porsche.

Thornley was able to negotiate the Portuguese superstar to sell it to him for half price and he immediately sold it for a huge profit.

He continued: "About four or five months later. We're in March/April he is leaving Real Madrid. We all know he's off at the end of the season. So he says to me while the X Factor's on again on Saturday night and it was Kimberly Wyatt from Pussycat Dolls, 'can you get me her number?'"

"So I'm like 'what's in this for me? I'm getting you girls' numbers from everywhere and I'm getting nothing out of this.'

"He said: 'You like my car?' He had a Porsche convertible. He said when I go to Real Madrid, I'll sell it to you for half price. It took me about 10 minutes to get her number. Pass it on to him.

"Sure enough end of season comes and I ask if the deal is still good. Yeah, he's sticking to it, but yeah 30 grand I give him for a 60 grand car, next day I sold it for 50 grand!"

Ronaldo is in a long-term relationship with Georgina Rodriguez, a former Gucci shop assistant who he met during his time at Real.
