Georgina Rodriguez appears to deny claims that ‘Cristiano Ronaldo is fed up with her’

Georgina Rodriguez appeared to hit back at claims on her social media

Georgina Rodriguez appeared to hit back at claims that her relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo is going through a rough patch.

Rodriguez first met Ronaldo when she was working in a Gucci store in Spain whilst the Portuguese was playing for Real Madrid.

After her relationship with Ronaldo was made public, Rodriguez has seen her popularity grow. In recent years, she has worked with Netflix to release a documentary series titled ‘I am Georgina’.

In recent weeks, there have been reports that Rodriguez and Ronaldo’s relationship is going through a difficult time.

According to The Sun, Portuguese media have suggested that the couple is on the verge of breaking up and that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is ‘fed up with her’.

Spanish journalist Abel Planelles has claimed that the pair had a monumental shouting match getting on a plane.

However, Rodriguez has appeared to deny the rumours with her latest social media post.

On her Instagram account, the 29-year-old posted a picture of the night sky, with lyrics from the song ‘If I Die’ by Romeo Santos.

One of the lyrics said: “The envious invents the rumour, the gossip spreads and the idiot believes it.”

Another Spanish journalist, Daniel Nascimiento has stated that Rodriguez spends all her time ‘spending’.

Nascimiento said, as per The Sun: “Georgina spends all day stuck in a shopping centre in Riyad and that is one of the reasons why Cristiano is beginning to find this story not funny.

"In the series, she does nothing but spend, spend and spend, and worst of all, she believes that she is equal to Cristiano.”

SPORTbible has contacted Georgina Rodriguez's representatives for comment.
