Cristiano Ronaldo’s bombshell interview has left his Manchester United teammates and manager Erik ten Hag ‘extremely disappointed,’ according to stunning reports.

Ronaldo, 37, was widely linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the summer after United failed to secure Champions League football for this season.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has struggled for regular first-team minutes under Ten Hag, with Ronaldo scoring only once in 10 Premier League appearances this season.

However, Ronaldo stunned the world after sitting down for a shock interview with Piers Morgan and speaking out against his treatment at United.

The Portugal captain hit out at United’s lack of “evolution” after Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement and accused the club of showing a lack of “empathy” when his daughter was hospitalised in July.

Ronaldo’s sensational scathing attacks also extended to former United manager Ralf Rangnick and club teammate Wayne Rooney, as well as criticising Ten Hag.

Clips from the interview made the rounds on social media on Sunday, with the full sitdown chat to be shown on TalkTV over two nights on Wednesday and Thursday.

According to Sky Sports (via the Daily Mail), Ronaldo’s interview has ruffled feathers with the United uppers as well as his club teammates and Ten Hag.

"I feel betrayed."

It is believed that Ronaldo’s teammates and manager are ‘extremely disappointed’ with his interview, with United now considering ‘all of their options’ over his future.

Sky Sports reports that United only became aware of the Red Devils forward’s interview during their preparation to fly back from their 2-1 victory over Fulham.

It is added that United players are believed to be ‘hugely disappointed’ in Ronaldo, who is under contract until 2023 and has been linked with Chelsea in recent months.

United players are reportedly unhappy with how Ronaldo ‘disrespected’ the Old Trafford outfit and Ten Hag through the manner in which he spoke.

Ronaldo’s actions have left United’s management staff and club teammates confused over his decision to conduct such a damning interview with Morgan.

And it is suggested that they felt the club treated Ronaldo with respect after he refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham back in October.

United are preparing for any further bombshell admissions from Ronaldo when the Piers Morgan Uncensored interview drops later this week.

Ronaldo was reportedly told last Thursday that he would not start for United ahead of their trip to Craven Cottage on Sunday.

According to Sky Sports, the United legend was informed that Ten Hag would include him in the matchday squad for the Premier League clash against Fulham.
