Cristiano Ronaldo made his Al Nassr debut on Sunday

A behind-the-scenes video from Cristiano Ronaldo’s official Al Nassr debut shows how much of a leader the Portugal legend is.

Since leaving Manchester United in November, the whole football world waited in anticipation to find out what club Ronaldo will sign for next.

After weeks of speculation, it was confirmed in early January that Ronaldo has signed for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.

Ronaldo made his first appearance since completing his big-money move to the Middle East last week when he started and scored twice for the Riyadh XI in a friendly against Paris Saint Germain.

On Sunday, he was named captain as he made his official debut for Al Nassr. Anderson Talisca scored the only goal of the match as Al Nassr sealed a 1-0 victory over Al Ettifaq.

After the match, a behind-the-scenes video was posted by Ronaldo’s new club to give fans an insight into the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s first match for his new club.

In the video, Ronaldo was seen encouraging his teammates ahead of kick-off, he was heard saying: “Come on boys let’s go! Win the three points.”

During his post-match interview, Al Nassr manager Rudi Garcia urged his players to play normally instead of trying to pass the ball to Ronaldo on every occasion.

He said: “It's very important for the players to play normally and not always try to give the ball to Cristiano.

“Tonight, I think that sometimes we had good positions to cross but not enough people in the box, and sometimes no Ronaldo and no Talisca.

“We need to work on that, to have one of them in the box and maybe the other playing outside the box.”

Garcia added that his side will work hard in order to get Ronaldo back to top shape.

He said: “Everyone knows Cristiano, he's a five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

“He's one of the best players in the history of football. It's up to us to make sure we get him in the best condition. I want him to enjoy playing here and tonight he was happy to play for the first time.”

Next up for Al Nassr will be the Saudi Super Cup semi-final against Al-Ittihad on Thursday.
