The Courtroom Sketch Of Wayne Rooney In Coleen Rooney vs Rebekah Vardy Trial Has Gone Viral

The Courtroom Sketch Of Wayne Rooney In Coleen Rooney vs Rebekah Vardy Trial Has Gone Viral

Rooney looked unrecognisable.

A courtroom sketch of Wayne Rooney supporting his wife, Coleen, during her legal battle with Rebekah Vardy has gone viral.

The Derby County manager was in attendance for Coleen's ongoing 'Wagatha Christie' libel battle against Vardy.

Rooney accused Vardy of leaking stories and private information to the media in the wake of their public fallout in 2019.

Rebekah, the wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, has denied those allegations and is suing Coleen for libel.

Rooney sat next to Coleen in the courtroom and the courtroom depiction was shown on television on Tuesday evening.

The former Manchester United striker is barely recognisable as you can see in the image above.

Fans on social media can't believe it and have started to make their own comparisons.

One commented: "Why have they made him look like Mike Tyson?"

A second tweeted: "They look like Triple H and Stephanie McMahon."

Some put: "Unlicensed football games circa early 2000's when he had to be listed as Warren Rodney."

While another added: "Looking more and more like Danny Murphy."

Day two at London's High Court is underway and the High Court has heard a story involving Riyad Mahrez during his time at Leicester City.

Rooney's lawyer challenged Vardy over messages she sent to her agent, Caroline Watt, after the Algeria international didn't turn up for a Foxes training session.

Mahrez would leave Leicester for Manchester City later than summer and it's believed he was pushing for a transfer to be completed.

Vardy wrote in a WhatsApp message: "Mahrez not turned up for training again. The lads are fuming."

The High Court was told Watt suggested they leak information to Sky Sports News reporter Rob Dorsett, who was across any potential transfer involving Mahrez.

It heard that Vardy then replied to Watt: "I just don’t want it coming back on me."

Dorsett would later tweet: "I'm told Riyad Mahrez failed to report for #lcfc training this morning. He has now missed two training sessions and a game, so is technically in breach of contract and on strike.

"Sources say he is depressed after failing to get his move to #mcfc."

Vardy has denied an accusation that her agent passed information to The Sun newspaper about the Leicester squad's reaction and claims she was 'just gossiping' with Watt.
