Christian Pulisic was compared to LeBron James, in a clip from television show Prawn Stars, and everyone is finding the suggestion hilarious.

Pulisic is an extremely talented forward, and one of the best players America has ever produced in football, but it's fair to say he's not one of the best players in the world.

However, on American tv show Pawn Stars, a reality tv programme about a pawn shop, the 23-year-old was made out to be one of football's all time greats.

A fan bought in a signed Chelsea shirt into the shop and, during the valuation, Pulisic is compared to LeBron, considered by some as the greatest player in NBA history, called the 'phenom,' claimed he's "one of the top players in the Premier League" and even the 'expert' compares the 23-year-old to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The clip has gone viral and it really has to be seen to be believed.

As well as the 'incredible' comparisons that the former Borussia Dortmund player has somehow attracted, the fan somehow thinks Pulisic is a central midfielder.

It definitely feels like none of the men in the video have ever seen a game of football and they just want to celebrate an American soccer player.

You can understand why the reaction is one of utter bemusement from people who have actually seen football before.

Despite working with Thomas Tuchel at Dortmund, before his move to west London, he hasn't been a fixture since the German moved to Stamford Bridge in January.

The American forward played upfront for Chelsea on Sunday but things didn't work out for him, or the Blues, as they drew 0-0 with Wolves.

The draw means they are now six points behind league leaders Manchester City after a poor run of form, and they could be cut adrift from the title race.
