Chelsea host Leicester City at Stamford Bridge this afternoon as they look to bounce back from last week’s dismal display against Leeds at Elland Road.

The Blues produced a below par performance as Jesse Marsch’s side ran out 3-0 winners in Yorkshire.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have faced with huge amounts of criticism since the game, with many lamenting their lack of creativity as they continue to struggle without a natural striker.

There is, however, some positive news for Chelsea supporters. The club are supposedly close to agreeing a deal with their opponents this weekend for defender Wesley Fofana.

The same cannot be said for Leicester, where there is very little to get excited about for Foxes fans.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have lost their last two Premier League games and are yet to pick up three points this season.

The East Midlands club have yet to bring in a single outfield player this summer and could face a mass exodus of their key men in the final week of the window, with the likes of Fofana, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison linked with moves away.

A positive result in West London could really help to eradicate the dour mood currently surrounding the club.

Here’s everything you need to know about Chelsea vs Leicester City.

Is Chelsea vs Leicester on TV? Channel and live stream

This game will not be televised in the UK due to the 3pm fixture broadcast blackout.

However, fans will be able to find highlights of the game on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube Channel, or on Match of the Day at 22:30 tonight on BBC 1.

What time does Chelsea vs Leicester kick off?

Chelsea’s encounter with Leicester kicks off at 3pm (BST) at Stamford Bridge in West London.

Chelsea Team News

The Blues will be without new signing Kalidou Koulibaly, as he serves a one-match ban after being sent off at Elland Road last weekend.

Marc Cucurella is expected to slot into the back three, with Ben Chilwell likely to return to the starting eleven against his former club.

Mateo Kovacic isn’t expected to make his return as he continues to struggle with a knee injury, while N’Golo Kante will also be absent with a hamstring issue.

Armando Broja should return after missing out on the trip up North on Sunday, but he’s unlikely to usurp Kai Havertz from the start.

Leicester Team News

Leicester's Fofana is not expected to be in contention for this game as he has his head set on a move to their opponents, while Tielemans could face the same fate as he continues to be linked with a departure.

There was concern over Harvey Barnes as he came off the back of a knee injury, but the English winger completed 90 minutes against Stockport County in midweek in the Carabao Cup, so should return.

The rest of Leicester’s squad remains unscathed, and it’s thought that Rodgers could revert to a back three, a system which the Northern Irishman used in the Foxes 4-2 defeat against Arsenal a couple of weeks ago.
