Liverpool Interested In Arsenal Forward Who Is 'Reluctant' To Sign A New Deal

While the English youngster is apparently 'reluctant' to sign a new deal with Arsenal, Liverpool have already registered an interest.

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is reportedly reluctant to sign a new deal at Arsenal, with Liverpool registering an interest in the 20 year-old.

The England star is coming off the back of a relatively imposing individual season, having registered 11 goals and 7 assists in the league for the Gunners. An impressive tally whilst playing in a fairly poor Arsenal side, who finished 5th.

Saka’s contract expires in 2024, with the player seemingly reluctant to commit his long-term future to the club. Not only is there interest from Liverpool, but Manchester City also look to be interested in the player.

According to the Empire Of The Kop, the Arsenal winger will not commit his future to the club unless a release clause is included in his new contract.

With only two years left on his current deal, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if the 20 year-old ran down his contract in the hope of a move to City or Liverpool. Alternatively, we could see either of these times make a move for the star this summer, in the hope that Arsenal will settle for a smaller fee for the player, with the Gunners hesitant to let him run down his contract and leave on a free.

Mane’s potential departure to Bayern Munich has the Reds in desperate need of reinforcements, and with Saka’s ability to play multiple positions at a high level, Klopp is seemingly a huge admirer.

Could we be seeing Arsenal’s star-boy playing for a different set of Reds in the near future?
