AS Roma Troll Romelu Lukaku On Official TikTok With Brutal Clip

Romelu Lukaku won't be best pleased by the bit of content from AS Roma's official TikTok.

AS Roma have rinsed Romelu Lukaku on their official TikTok in a viral video.

The Giallorossi, who have 1.1 million followers and 14.2 million likes on the platform, posted a clip of Lukaku in action for Inter Milan against them last season at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Belgian striker chopped back inside on the left flank and and throws himself down to the turf in theatrical fashion.

It was quite the dive and so Roma so decided to mock the 28-year-old by editing the video as though he had been shot by a sniper.

A 360 no scope pops up on the screen, with a +420 graphic.

The seven second video has gone viral, racking up over 370,00 likes on TikTok.

The savage video comes after Lukaku caused a serious stir for his tell-all interview where he revealed his desire to return to Inter Milan.

He also hit out Thomas Tuchel for not playing to his strengths and said he is "not happy with the situation" at Chelsea, who he rejoined in the summer in a club-record £97.5 million switch.

Lukaku also claimed Chelsea were his fourth choice, behind the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

The controversial comments led to Tuchel dropping Lukaku for the 2-2 draw with Liverpool after he said the debacle "brings noise" and is "not helpful".

It was rumoured the former Manchester United and Everton was to be hit with a hefty fine but after a chat behind-closed-doors, Lukaku took part in an "apology interview" on Chelsea's official channels.

"To the fans I'm sorry for the upset I have caused," Lukaku told Chelsea's official YouTube channel.

"You guys know the connection I have with this club since my teenage years, I understand you guys being upset.

"Obviously, it's up to me now to restore your trust and I'll do my best to show commitment every day on the training ground and in the games, make sure we're winning the games.

"Also, to the manager I apologise and I said to my teammates and the board because I think it was not the right moment.

"I want to move forward from this and make sure we start winning football games and I perform for the team in the best manner."

With the matter seemingly resolved, Lukaku returned to the starting XI for the 2-0 Carabao Cup semi-final first leg win over Spurs on Wednesday.
