Mykhailo Mudryk is Arsenal's priority target for the January transfer window, and the Shakhtar Donetsk star has dropped a number of hints that he is indeed keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal had two bids rejected by Shakhtar for the 22-year-old, but are reportedly getting closer to a deal.

That is according to Sport Arena's Yehor Danylov, who claims that the two sides are working on potential bonuses involved in the structure of a deal, with Mudryk having already agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

The Gunners are aiming to defeat late interest from Chelsea, who have been keeping tabs on Mudryk with a view to making a move themselves.

Here is every hint that Mudryk has dropped which suggests he may want to move to Arsenal.

Mudryk 'likes' Instagram posts

Arsenal also had interest in Mudryk in August, and were reportedly keen on signing the Ukrainian on deadline day.

The winger 'liked' a post from an Instagram account which claimed the Gunners were 'pushing' to bring him to the Emirates.

Then, in November, he 'liked' a post from popular account AFTV, which again linked Mudryk to a move to the club in January.

And finally, on January 5, he controversially 'liked' another Instagram post - with this one containing a #FreeMudryk hashtag, showing a mockup of him being locked behind a prison door.

Mudryk watches Arsenal matches

On a number of occasions, Mudryk has published a series of Instagram stories which show him watching live Arsenal matches.

The first example of this came on Boxing Day, where he could be seen watching the Premier League clash between the Gunners and West Ham.

He also took a screenshot during Arsenal's away clash to Brighton on December 31, specifically an image of Gunners boss Mikel Arteta and Seagulls boss Roberto De Zerbi - who coached Mudryk at Shakhtar. He captioned the image: "2 great coach."

And on Thursday, Mudryk added a new post to his Instagram account, alongside his pet cat. He captioned this post with the words: "My little cheerleader," but followers spotted a Photoshopped image in the background which showed him wearing an Arsenal shirt.

Mudryk was also spotted in Dubai last month at the same time as the Arsenal squad during the squad's mid-World Cup training camp.

What has Mudryk said in interviews?

Mudryk has referenced Arsenal on a few occasions in the media.

In an interview with CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs in September, he described the Gunners as a 'very good team'.

And in another interview, this time with Ukrainian journalist Vlada Zinchenko - the wife of Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko, he explained: "I check on [their results] in 'myscore' and know when they're playing I can check on them." He also admitted he admired the Gunners and their style of play.
