Arsenal fans react to ‘Agent Gabriel’ after footage of conversation with Kai Havertz emerges

Arsenal fans have been reacting to a video of defender Gabriel Magalhaes talking to Kai Havertz after recent transfer rumours.

After the largely positive 22/23 season ended disappointingly for Arsenal, the Gunners are now gearing up to challenge Manchester City once again.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Chelsea star Havertz, with the German believed to be open to a move to the Emirates.

However, one stumbling block could be the £75 million asking price set by the Stamford Bridge club.

Since the news broke, a video of Gabriel speaking to Havertz after a match has emerged, with fans labelling the Brazilian as ‘Agent Gabriel’

One fan said: “Agent Gabriel Magalhaes OMGGGG he's done it.”

Another tweeted: “Big Gabi is lowkey on of my favourite players.”

A third fan added: “That’s Saka’s hand from the right too. There is a special bond between him and our guys. I am sold.”

Someone else wrote: “What was he cooking.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “Agent Gabriel was at work already.”

Since arriving in the Premier League from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen back in 2020, Havertz has largely failed to live up to his £71 million price tag.

In the 22/23 season, Havertz made a total of 47 appearances across all competitions but only managed to score nine goals and provide one assist.

However, a change of scenery could be what Havertz needs in order to ignite his career in English football.

Aside from Havertz, the Gunners have been heavily linked with the likes of West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, Brighton man Moises Caicedo and Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan.

Manager Mikel Arteta is eager to add to his squad as he now has to prepare for Arsenal’s long-awaited return to the Champions League.
