Sensational footage of Arsenal fan 'hiding' in the Chelsea end during 1-0 win is s**thouse gold

Fair play.

An Arsenal supporter has gone viral after 'hiding' in the Chelsea end at Stamford Bridge during Sunday's 1-0 win.

Gabriel's second half strike was enough for the Gunners to leapfrog Manchester City and return to the top of the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta's side are in fine form, with tickets to games this season hard to come by. One bloke decided to get creative for this season's first meeting between the bitter rivals.

Twitter user @jlafc1 filmed his mate among frustrated Chelsea fans, who can be heard complaining about manager Graham Potter's tactics.

Behind enemy lines, the lad flashes his phone to the camera with an Arsenal badge on it.

He then gives a cheeky wink as everyone around him accepts they've been mugged off. Check out the footage below.

Great s**thousery, it has to be said. The clip has gone viral on social media, with many commending the courage he showed to mix it up with the home crowd.

One person said: "One team in London and we’ll even fill your home end for ya."

Another commented: "Love that wink with zero shame."

A third tweeted: "Ya man’s wink will go down in history. What a boy."

While someone added: "This guy is an Arsenal legend."

Sunday's win was Arteta's 87th win as manager, giving him the best record of any other Arsenal manager in history at this stage.

He's remained coy on their Premier League title aspirations but admitted for the first time post-match that they're challengers.

The Spaniard admitted: "We are in contention, today. In football, today and tomorrow are very different. But let’s enjoy this time.

"Manchester City have the best manager in the world, the best team in the world. They have shown it consistently in every single competition.

"We have to be very, very respectful of that. We are getting much better as a team, competing much better, getting really good results right now.

"Obviously we are still very early in the season. We have to maintain that.

"It is going to be a long, long marathon but we have had a really good start."

Arsenal finished fifth last term, missing out on a place in the Champions League to Tottenham Hotspur.

They return to action against Brighton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, before signing off from Premier League action before the World Cup away to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
