Granit Xhaka swears live on BT Sport, reporter tells him off in hilarious scenes

Xhaka was full of emotion after hearing Arsenal fans sing his name.

Granit Xhaka hilariously swore live on BT Sport following Arsenal's 1-0 victory over Chelsea - which saw him get a telling off from Des Kelly.

Gabriel's second-half goal was enough for Arsenal to seal victory at Stamford Bridge and return to the top of the Premier League.

It was a vital victory for Mikel Arteta's side, who have now beaten three of the traditional big six this season.

Xhaka, who has been in fine form this term, played the full 90 minutes alongside Thomas Partey and captain Martin Odegaard in midfield.

Xhaka did his post-match duties on the Stamford Bridge pitch while going over to celebrate with Gunners supporters.

BT Sport managed to get a chat with the Switzerland international, telling him the away end wasn't being put off by the terrible weather in London.

After hearing a rendition of 'We've Got Granit Xhaka' and acknowledging the song, Xhaka turned to Kelly and said: "You see the atmosphere, it's f**king unbelievable!"

Kelly immediately interrupted, grabbed Xhaka and joked: "Sorry about the language. That's one! Carry on."

He then composed himself and continued: "You can see the atmosphere is unbelievable. From the start until the end, we deserved to win today. We were the much better team. We are so happy with how things are going at the moment. We are doing everything to coach tells us and we're seeing the results."

Fans online have reacted to Xhaka's slip of the tongue and they think it's brilliant.

One person said: "Love that passion Granit."

Another put: "Would they have sent him off if he did it again?"

A third tweeted: "Player with a bit of personality and not giving the standard media-trained interview. A true leader."

While someone added: "Let the lad express himself."

It was an unhappy reunion with Arsenal for Blues striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The forward left Arsenal for Barcelona earlier this year but returned to English football with Chelsea in the summer.

He had a stinker against his former team, touching the ball just eight times and making three successful passes.

Aubameyang was replaced just after the hour mark by Armando Broja.
