The top 10 female players who earn the most from Instagram, including Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe

US superstar Alex Morgan is projected to make an eye-watering six-figure payday from her Instagram posts in 2023, according to new findings.

San Diego Wave striker Alex Morgan is the female player who earns the most from Instagram posts ahead of United States teammate Megan Rapinoe.

Morgan has built a prolific playing career for both club and country, with the 33-year-old American star establishing a huge following off the field as well.

The San Diego Wave skipper is one of the highest-paid female footballers in the world and earns a hefty £375,000 at the NWSL side.

According to 888 Sport, only Chelsea Women forward Sam Kerr is ahead of Morgan as the best-paid women’s player in 2023 thanks to her whopping £417,000 salary.

Morgan, who has lifted back-to-back Women’s World Cup titles with the USA, boasts 416,900 followers on TikTok and a mammoth 9.9m followers on Instagram.

Betting.com has now revealed that the US international earns a whopping £21,202 per Instagram post, with Morgan expected to make an eye-watering £508,851.34 in 2023.

Barcelona Femeni star Alexia Putellas, who is the current Women’s Ballon d’Or holder, is behind Morgan after making £5,268 per Instagram post.

Morgan’s US teammate Rapinoe finished third in the 10 female players who earn the most from Instagram posts, with the Reign winger pocketing £4,681 per post.
