Alejandro Garnacho forced to delete social media post after eagle eyed fans noticed a problem

Garnacho was having to watch Manchester United's FA Cup game with Fulham from his couch, after his recent injury.

Alejandro Garnacho quickly deleted a social media post, and reuploaded, as he watched Manchester United's chaotic FA Cup game with Fulham from home.

If Sundays are for relaxing then no one remembered to tell Marco Silva or his Fulham side, as they completely lost their heads at Old Trafford.

Leading 1-0 and bossing the hosts, the Cottagers imploaded when Willian handled on the line to stop Jadon Sancho's goal bound effort, winning United a penalty and earning the Brazilian a red card.

But it got worse quickly as Silva saw red for arguing with the referee, before goalscorer Aleksandar Mitrovic followed for pushing the official and shouting at him, as he gave Willian his marching orders.

Inevitably, Erik ten Hag's side soon turned the game around, Bruno Fernandes scoring the resulting penalty and Marcel Sabitzer flick giving them the lead two minutes later, before Fernandes rounded off the scoring in injury time.

Whilst those scenes were anything but relaxing, it was a much breezier day for Garnacho, who is currently out injured, after suffering in the recent draw with Southampton.

It means he'll miss the chance to make his Argentina debut this week but did leave him time to sit and watch Sunday's game from the comfort of his own couch.

He uploaded a picture of his set up to his Instagram story, but soon deleted it, after realising he'd left his vape pen visually in the shot.

"Garnacho is one of those vape weirdos? Lost all respect for him," said one fan, insulting both the teenager and anyone who vapes.

"Garnacho that better not be your vape," pleaded a second fan, more out of hope than expectation you imagine.

Landing a second insulting blow to anyone who uses one, a third fan quipped, "Love Garnacho but does look like the type of fella to vape."

Clearly quite angry at the situation, a fourth added, "He's paid enough to live clean. Hope Ten Hag has a word. He can vape for decades after retiring if he wants - not good enough."

"Someone's getting a bollocking. Rightly so." replied another.

Seeing the funny side, a sixth posted, "Hope he gives that sh*t up but also that's just hilarious outing yourself like that. Kids will be kids."

Some also noticed that, rather than watching the game on ITV, like everyone else in England, the 18-year-old was watching the game on DAZN.

That led others to accuse him of having a 'dodgy' Fire Stick, with one fan saying, "Garnacho has a vape pen and a Fire Stick, he truly is one of us."

It's not just his fans who have been annoyed by Garnacho's actions recently, with Barcelona star Ronald Araujo recently admitting he's still irked by the United youngster.

A whole other round of the Europa League has been and gone since the two sides met last month, but Araujo is still annoyed by the forward's post match celebration.

SPORTbible have reached out to Alejandro Garnacho's representatives and Manchester United for comment.
