Manchester United teenager Alejandro Garnacho still doesn't have a place in the first-team dressing room at the club's Carrington training complex.

Garnacho made his senior debut in the Europa League against FC Sheriff last month before scoring his first goal against Real Sociedad in the same competition.

The 18-year-old made a huge impact in Thursday's 4-2 win over Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup, registering two assists as a second-half substitute. His second for Scott McTominay in added time, in particular, caught the eye.

It's been a rapid rise to fame for the winger, but United manager Erik ten Hag is keen to keep his feet planted firmly on the ground.

Per the Daily Mail, Garnacho still isn't fully integrated into the first-team at Carrington. The Argentina youth international joined United's youth system from Atletico Madrid in 2020, still featuring for United's U21 side as early as last month.

Ten Hag previously claimed Garnacho's attitude was not at the level required. He was reportedly late for training twice in pre-season, which restricted his game time.

There has been a noticeable change since then, which United midfielder Bruno Fernandes also alluded to earlier this month.

Speaking after United's win over Villa, ten Hag remarked Garnacho's attitude will make or break his chances of becoming a regular in his side.

"It was good that he came on and showed that performance and had that impact in the game, to be able to assist, make the dribbles and run behind," Ten Hag explained.

"He still has things to learn, but quite obviously we are happy with his development and he can contribute to the team.

"It depends on his approach, his attitude. When he keeps working, then yes, it is possible [for him to play more].

"He wants to improve every day. He has to do the right things in his lifestyle. He has the capability."

United are currently light in attacking areas. Cristiano Ronaldo missed midweek through illness, while Jadon Sancho and Anthony have been absent from the last three and four matchday squads respectively.

The Red Devils are currently fifth in the Premier League table. They return to action against Fulham on Sunday afternoon knowing victory would move them three points behind Tottenham Hotspur going into the World Cup.

United also have a game in hand on Spurs, who came from behind three times to beat Leeds United 4-3 on Saturday afternoon.
