Ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season opener this weekend, Sky Sports' pundit line-up has reportedly been confirmed with one major departure.

This weekend, the new F1 season will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix, taking place around Melbourne's Albert Park.

On Wednesday, Sky Sports, who broadcast the sport in the United Kingdom, have announced their F1 line-up for the upcoming campaign.

As expected, lead commentator David Croft, pit-lane reporter Ted Kravitz and expert analyst Martin Brundle have all been retained.

Brundle is set to resume his role on the pre Grand Prix Grid Walk, while Kravitz will continue his 'Ted's Notebook' series after qualifying and races.

Joining the popular trio will be the likes of Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg, Jacques Villeneuve, Naomi Schiff, Bernie Collins, Karun Chandhok, Jamie Chadwick and Anthony Davidson.

Meanwhile, Simon Lazenby, Natalie Pinkham, Rachel Brookes and Craig Slater will share presenting and reporting duties.

48-year-old Pinkham recently confirmed that she will be back in the paddock for the Japanese Grand Prix, after recovering from neck surgery.

BBC Radio 5 Live commentator Harry Benjamin will step in for Croft at selected races in 2026, just like he did over the course of the last couple of years.

However, there is one major departure, as Danica Patrick was not named in the Sky Sports line-up.

Over the last few years, former IndyCar and NASCAR driver Patrick had mainly worked on the North American rounds.

As reported by Planet F1, Patrick is 'not due to be a part of the channel’s plans from the 2026 season'.
