Red Bull 2026 Car 'Leaked' Hours Before Reveal as Key Detail Spotted

Red Bull are set to launch their 2026 car on Thursday.

Red Bull's 2026 car has been 'leaked' online just hours before the team's official launch event.

On Thursday, Red Bull, along with sister team Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, will unveil their challengers for the new campaign during an event in Detroit, USA.

Ahead of the event, it is widely expected that Red Bull will only reveal the livery of the car, instead of the final design.

Meanwhile, the likes of Mercedes, Ferrari, Audi, Haas and Alpine are set to reveal their cars next week.

Prior to Red Bull's launch event, the team posted a teaser poster on social media.

In the image, the Red Bull car was blacked out, but there was a small part of the front wing that was lit.

Reacting on social media, fans were quick to speculate, with many claiming the team could bring back a retro livery.

One fan said: "Don’t want to gloss over this but Red Bull doing a blast to the past?"

Another tweeted: "That’s a new livery."

A third fan added: "A white line instead of a yellow line that splits the blue and red. This screams a Vettel/Webber era livery. Lets hope it will be!"

Someone else wrote: "I SEE A DIFFERENT SHADE OF BLUE IN THAT FRONT WING I’M SO INNNNNN."

A fifth commented: "DO MY EYES SPY A YELLOW NOSE?????"

What did Max Verstappen say about Red Bull's F1 livery?

Speaking previously, Verstappen himself stated that team should return to a more 'shiny' livery.

He said ahead of 2025: "The livery, I hope it’s a bit different. I was actually talking about it today, I actually really like these cars as well [pointing at older Red Bulls behind him] with the shiny colour.

"We’ve had so many matte-blue cars, but I think sometimes it’s just nice to spice it up a little bit."
