The three people who are allowed to visit Michael Schumacher after his horror ski accident in 2013 have been named.
One year after retiring from his Formula One, the record-breaking Ferrari driver was involved in a life-altering ski crash in the French Alps.
Airlifted to hospital, the German placed in a medically-induced coma until June 2014 and the brain injury suffered was so severe that Schumacher has never been seen in public and no pictures have been published - despite a £12.5 million blackmail plot which saw Schumacher's former bodyguard and two other individuals threaten to release 'intimate medical images', videos and records.

Schumacher's family have prioritised a level of privacy and it is not known where he receives regular care and treatment from wife Corinna and medical professionals.
However, updates on Schumacher's condition have been released on occasion and a fresh report from The Telegraph sheds light on who has access to the 56-year-old.
The three people allowed to visit Michael Schumacher
According to the newspaper, outside of family members, former Ferrari team principal Jean Todt and technical director Ross Brawn are allowed to visit - with the former said to visit twice a month and even watching F1 races.

The outlet went on so say that Gerhard Berger, Schumacher's former rival-turned-friend is "understood" to be the final person in the trio Elisabetta Gregoraci, the ex wife of Flavio Briatore, referenced in 2020.

Despite close ties with Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone, the pair appear to have refrained from visiting and prefer to remember Schumacher as they knew him.
It has been reported that former manager Willi Weber, Eddie Jordan and Luca Badoer were initially granted access but speaking about Schumacher's state in public resulted in it being halted.

"Michael is here. Different, but he's here, and that gives us strength, I find," Corinna said on the difficult situation during the Netflix documentary titled 'Schumacher.'
"We live together at home. We do therapy. We do everything we can to make Michael better and to make sure he's comfortable, and to simply make him feel our family, our bond. And no matter what, I will do everything I can. We all will.
"We're trying to carry on as a family, the way Michael liked it and still does. And we are getting on with our lives. 'Private is private', as he always said. It's very important to me that he can continue to enjoy his private life as much as possible. Michael always protected us and now we are protecting Michael."
