Sky Sports broadcaster Martin Brundle made a huge error when speaking to boxer Conor Benn ahead of the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday (May 4).
Brundle, 65, was on his usual chaotic grid walk in the minutes before the start of the race, which Max Verstappen was on pole for.
The Sky Sports broadcaster walked around the grid in search of interviews with big names from the world of sport and showbiz and ended up chatting to former heavyweight world champion Evander Holyfield and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

However, when he began chatting with boxer Benn, 28, he appeared to make a huge error.
When exchanging pleasantries with the Londoner about his recent middleweight showdown against Chris Eubank Jr., he appeared to congratulate him on the “result” of his bout despite Benn losing by a unanimous points decision at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26.
"It was a great fight but I didn't get the W that I came for,” Benn replied.

"Hopefully we'll run it back in September and I can make amends.
"This is my first time here at F1. It's absolutely amazing. What an event, what an occasion."
Fans on social media were quick to have their say.
One said: "The Miami Grand Prix can literally never leave the F1 schedule because what the hell would we do without Martin Brundle’s incredibly awkward interviews with disinterested celebrities on the grid walk."

A second added: "You can tell Martin Brundle didn’t watch the fight because he congratulated Conor Benn on the result twice."
A third explained: "Martin Brundle congratulating Conor Benn on a fight he lost is the cringiest thing I have ever seen."
As a fourth quipped: "Not Martin Brundle congratulating Conor Benn when he lost."
Another commented: "Martin Brundle just congratulated Conor Benn for winning last week. Second hand embarrassment is real."

Benn spoke to Sky Sports earlier in the day, he said: "Next time there will be a lot less emotions, I went in there and tried to take his [Eubank's] head off... not focusing on the thing I know I should be doing in there. Rather got too emotional and just wanted to take his head off his shoulders. Rookie mistake."
