An unseen clip of Oscar Piastri shows what he did instead of celebrating with the McLaren team after the Singapore Grand Prix.
McLaren retained their Constructors' Championship title in Singapore with Lando Norris finishing third and Piastri coming home in fourth. But it was a dramatic night for the world championship rivals, who made contract at turn three of the opening lap.
Norris bumped into the back of Max Verstappen's Red Bull damaging his front wing, before bumping wheels with his teammate. An angry Piastri came onto the radio, saying: “Yeah, I mean that wasn’t very team like, but sure.
“So, are we cool with Lando just barging me out of the way?”

Norris later responded: “It’s racing. I put it on the inside, I had a small correction, but nothing more than that. It was good racing.”

Despite a strong result, Piastri looked frustrated after the race, when team principal Zak Brown came over the radio to celebrate.
Brown said: "Oscar, back to back champions, good race, tough race, thank you for."

At that moment, Brown's message cut out, and Piastri climbed out of the car without responding. Unlike his teammate, Piastri did not join the team at the constructors podium to celebrate their second successive title.
It has now emerged that instead of celebrating, Piastri was in the media pen watching his team celebrate from afar.
But some Formula 1 fans blamed the team for starting their celebrations too early and not waiting for Piastri.
Who will win the world championship?
Piastri continues to lead Norris in the Drivers' Standings, but his advantage has been cut to 22 points with just six races remaining.

Reigning four-time world champion Verstappen is still in the fight, although he remains 63 points behind the Australian.
One factor that could play into the Dutchman's favour is the growing tension within the McLaren camp.

The team has managed two competitive drivers impressively this year, but the clash in Singapore reignited questions about how long that harmony would last.

When asked whether he believed Norris was being favoured by the team, Piastri brushed off that suggestion.
He said. "Could things have been better at certain points? Yes, but ultimately it's a learning process with the whole team and I'm very, very happy that the intentions are very well meaning, if that makes sense."
Formula 1 returns in two weeks' time at the Circuit of Americas in Texas, as the season nears a thrilling conclusion.
