Max Verstappen has jokingly named the only way the Monaco Grand Prix could ever be changed for the better after labelling the race as 'boring'.
Verstappen finished in fourth place on the streets of Monte Carlo - in exactly the same position as he qualified.
That was the same story for the top three runners, with McLaren's Lando Norris winning the race for the first time ahead of Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri.

Behind them, the new mandatory two pit-stop rule wreaked havoc, with teams deploying a strategy whereby one driver would purposely slow down to allow their team-mate in front to build a gap, pit and remain in the same position.
Fans were once again critical of the spectacle on social media.
And while the race has been commonly criticised by drivers in the past, that criticism was driven up a notch on Sunday as members of the grid were left exasperated by what they had experienced over 78 laps of racing.
Carlos Sainz accused Racing Bulls of 'manipulating' the race as they were the first to deploy the strategy that other teams were then forced to follow.

George Russell, meanwhile, accepted a drive-through penalty rather than stay behind the slow-moving Williams of Alex Albon, who was attempting to assist team-mate Sainz before his pit stop.
The Mercedes driver cut the chicane to pass Albon and have free air for the end of the race, though he didn't score a point.
Then there was Verstappen, who delayed his second pit stop from the lead for as long as possible in the hope that a red flag would be waved to give him a 'free' change of tyres.

He eventually stopped on lap 77 and finished in a comfortable fourth place - but the Dutchman was less than happy after the Grand Prix.
"I think I could have done four stops, and I'd still be in the same position," he told Viaplay. "That's Monaco for you.
"I think I had something like 50 seconds on Hamilton? So I could have done five pit stops, maybe a bit of pitstop training for the team?
"The problem is, you saw at the end that my tyres were pretty much done, you're driving about two to three seconds too slow, and you can still not do anything. So no idea [how to change it]. It [the mandatory pit stops] hasn't worked.

When the reporter asked if an alternative solution could be to force drivers to pit within a certain window, Verstappen replied: "Yeah, but then we are doing Mario Kart.
"Then we have to install bits on the car. Maybe you can throw bananas around for a slippery surface?"

Verstappen wasn't the only one who came up with an 'idea' to make the race better, with George Russell telling Sky Sports: "Every driver has a button that they get a chance to put the sprinklers on around the track, in qualifying or in the race. But you only do it once in the weekend.
"Click the button, and then the sprinklers come on. It spices the race up - you don't know when it's going to happen."
