Lewis Hamilton has reportedly been given a last chance warning as Ferrari have made it clear they've already picked his replacement.
It's safe to say that Hamilton's first season at Ferrari did not go quite to plan after many fans had hoped he could win a record eighth Drivers' Championship with the Italian team.
Instead, the 2025 season was the first campaign where the British driver failed to get even one podium finish, with his best finished being P4 at the Austrian Grand Prix, the British Grand Prix, and the US Grand Prix.
Hamilton himself has since labelled his debut year with Ferrari as "the worst season ever," regularly raising concerns among fans about his future in the sport.

And now, a new report has claimed that the end of Hamilton's time at Ferrari could be closer than ever, with the 40-year-old told that he has just one last chance to turn things around.

Throughout the final weeks of the season, several reports claimed that Hamilton could either be sacked or voluntarily leave Ferrari before the start of the 2026 season.
However, it is now expected that the British driver will remain with his current team at least for the start of the next campaign to see how he will adjust to the new regulations that are expected to massively change the sport.
But, according to Auto Motor und Sport, Hamilton is now on his ‘last chance’ with Ferrari and will be replaced if he isn't able to turn things around.
It is believed that Hamilton will be able to do just that, leaning on his support network around him to produce better results, but Ferrari are prepared to make the necessary call if he fails to do so.
And should Hamilton be sacked, Ferrari have already identified Haas driver Oliver Bearman as their ideal replacement from 2027 or sooner.

The young British driver massively impressed during his first season in Formula One, scoring 41 points, three more than veteran teammate Esteban Ocon, and finishing 13th in the Drivers' standings.
Bearman left school at the age of sixteen to join the Ferrari Driver Academy and was Ferrari's reserve driver for the 2024 season.
