All 11 F1 team liveries ahead of the 2026 season have been ranked from worst to best.
Most teams unveiled their 2026 challengers in January and the first week of February, with only Cadillac, McLaren and Aston Martin still to launch their cars at the end of last week.
Cadillac, who become the 11th team on the grid in 2026, launched their car as part of an advert broadcast during the Super Bowl half-time show.
McLaren's launch took place on Monday afternoon, with Aston Martin subsequently completing the set of new liveries - amid several delays on Monday evening - for the 2026 season.
Advert
All 11 liveries will debut at the first Bahrain test, which takes place between February 11 and 13.
Now the liveries have been launched, SPORTbible have ranked all 11 in descending order, from worst to best:
11) Racing Bulls

The Racing Bulls car was launched in Detroit, at the same event as the Red Bull.
It follows the same colour scheme as in 2025, which makes it hard to rank too much higher - though the dark blue/white combination on both sides of the car is a nice touch.
10) Audi

Those who have followed the World Endurance Championship will no doubt recall Audi's trusted colour scheme of white, silver, black and red.
The German car manufacturer - who have completed a full takeover of the Sauber team - have stuck with what they know ahead of their debut F1 season. And it works reasonably well, with the relative lack of sponsors compared to other teams giving it a clean look, even if some sections do appear dull in colour.
9) Aston Martin

Aston Martin have gone with a similar design to what we're used to seeing - except for the introduction of satin paint on the car for the first time.
The shade of green as always gets high marks, but like several entries in this list, there isn't a huge difference between previous Aston Martin liveries since the team rebranded from Racing Point in 2021.
8) Alpine

Alpine have essentially decided to stick with their 2025 livery, with some minor changes.
The pink-blue colours remain - with the pink in particular proving popular when used in 2024 and 2025 - but there isn't anything particular to differentiate it from the old generation of car.
7) McLaren
Like Alpine, McLaren's livery hasn't especially changed from 2025, when they won the Drivers' and Constructors' Championship.
The papaya livery has been a big favourite among fans and the new livery does fit well on to the new generation of cars but, for the same reason as Alpine, we'll rank this among the midfield.
6) Mercedes

Except for the hugely popular all-black livery that was used in 2020 and 2023, you generally know what sort of livery you are going to get from Mercedes.
The Silver Arrows have shook things up this year, however, with a distinctive green chequered-style pattern across the sidepods alongside their traditional silver and black colour scheme.
They sit highly in our rankings and, if early testing data is anything to go by, could well be genuine championship contenders with drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli.
5) Ferrari

The large amount of white on the traditionally red Ferrari caused some debate among fans when it was unveiled last month, though there is more of a consistent application compared to the 2025 car.
The lighter shade of red is also a notable difference, and fans will hope that the new car can finally challenge for titles after Ferrari went winless in Grands Prix last season.
4) Williams

Williams didn't attend the 'shakedown' test in Barcelona after failing to meet certain development deadlines - though team principal James Vowles says it was a result of his team simply attempting to chase maximum performance rather than an inherently serious problem.
Their February 3 car launch was on time - and what is immediately striking is the sheer amount of sponsors on the car.
The light blue, dark blue and white combo does make you think of Williams cars gone by in the 1990s and 2000s, and it is definitely an improvement on last year's largely one-colour blue livery.
3) Cadillac

Cadillac launched their inaugural F1 livery during the Super Bowl - and it will probably cause plenty of differences in opinion.
But the black-and-white combo does bear some similarities to the early McLaren cars of the 2000s that Kimi Raikkonen piloted to multiple championship challenges - simple but effective.
2) Red Bull

For the first time in many a year, Red Bull have changed their livery for 2026.
The glossy finish that was present on the debut Red Bull of 2025 is back, while there is a striking shade of blue to go alongside the traditional purple and what the team describe as a 'heritage white base'.
1) Haas

Our first impression of the 2026 Haas was that the front half has the look of the concept car that used to be present on the old PS2 F1 games - just with a bit more black and red.
For that reason alone, it ranks highly - with the added bonus that it has some similarities to the late 2000s cars produced by Toyota, who are now a partner of the team through Toyota Gazoo Racing.
