F1 star Jack Doohan has appeared to confirm his exit from Alpine after posting a series of images to his social media accounts.
Doohan started the F1 season alongside Pierre Gasly at Alpine after being promoted from reserve driver with Esteban Ocon leaving the team for Haas at the end of 2024.
The Australian made his debut for the team in Abu Dhabi 2024 after Ocon's slightly premature exit, however, just a month later Alpine announced the signing of Franco Colapinto as reserve driver.
Colapinto was one of the stars of the 2024 season after he replaced Logan Sargeant at Williams from the Italian Grand Prix.

The Argentine's performances looked enough to earn a full-time seat for 2025 and was heavily linked to Red Bull, making his deal with Alpine as a reserve raise eyebrows.
With Doohan's seat under serious pressure from race one, the 22-year-old needed serious results to keep his dream alive but unfortunately they never came.
Following six races of penalties, crashes and no points scored, Alpine confirmed Doohan would be replaced by Colapinto.

"The latest chapter is a tough one," Doohan said following the decision.
"I will keep my head down, keep working hard. I will continue to give my maximum efforts in any way I can to help."
Despite those commitments, it seems Doohan will no longer be giving is all for Alpine after a cryptic post appeared to confirm his departure from the French outfit.
Doohan posted a series of saddening photos from this season which show him embracing mechanics, as well as older photos picturing his success in the junior categories.
The Alpine man didn't caption the images, but comments from those close with him established what everyone feared.
“Thanks, broski! It was a pleasure to work with you. See you on track," Alpine race engineer Cristoforo Pirro responded.
"You my friend are an F1 driver. Not many people in history can say that! So proud of you. More of your story still to be written!!” Added Ex-pro surfer Cooper Chapman
F1 photographer Gregoire Truchet also implied Doohan would no longer be in the F1 paddock commenting: “All the best mate.”
