Martin Brundle had a brand new nickname for Carlos Sainz ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix and the Spaniard absolutely loved it.

Formula 1 legend Brundle was back to his best on the grid, chatting to the drivers and celebrities ahead of Sunday's big race in Hungary.

And he found a new way of grabbing Sainz's attention, nicknaming him 'Carlito' as he walked past, prompting Sainz to reply: "What did you call me?", before having a chuckle with the Sky presenter.

You can watch the footage from Budapest below.

When asked if he was confident if he could make up the places, having qualified in 11th place, Sainz replied: "I'm confident that we're at least going to have a bit of fun today, looking forward to the whole race.

"But at the same time it's going to be warm, it's going to be hard on tyres and that's where we struggle a bit so we need to be thinking both ways."

It is the first time since the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix that Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have started at the front of the grid and Hamilton could barely contain his excitement after qualifying.
