Phil Taylor has spoken out after Luke Humphries thanked him following his Premier League Darts triumph over Luke Littler.
Humphries was crowned the 2025 Premier League champion following his 11-8 victory over Littler in London on Thursday.
It's 'Cool Hand Luke's first Premier League title after making his debut in the competition last year, where he lost to Littler in the final.
After exacting revenge over the 18-year-old sensation, Humphries became a Triple Crown winner, having already won the World Championship and the World Matchplay.
Humphries paid tribute to Taylor for his support during his successful Premier League campaign.
"This one means the world to me, that was the one I was missing. It was the one I wanted, I have done it now," he told Sky Sports.

"Phil Taylor has given me a lot of support over the last couple of weeks so, Phil, if you are watching, thank you.
"He gave me a lot of advice and that extra support."
On talkSPORT, Taylor, who was also a Triple Crown winner during his legendary career, was taken back by Humphries' kind words following his latest triumph.
"That was nice wasn't it," he said. "I haven't actually seen that you know because I never got the chance to watch it, I was working in a theatre in Portsmouth."
Asked if he has been giving advice to the Leeds darts star, 'The Power' replied: "We text each other," before praising the Premier League champion and Littler, who won the competition last year: "They are great for the game."
Taylor also issued a warning to Littler if the teenager wants to break his records.
"If he wants to carry on and win, beat my records, then he's going to have to be dedicated," he explained. "And I mean dedicated for at least 25 years."
14-time world champion Taylor won 16 World Matchplay titles and six Premier League titles during his storied career.
Littler, who has yet to win the World Matchplay title in his young career, has one Premier League title and one world title to his name thus far.
