Nathan Aspinall was eliminated at the second round stage of the European Championship Darts on Saturday evening after he lost 10-5 to Luke Littler.
The Nuke was in fine form in producing the second-best average of the tournament's history (114.47), which made Aspinall's task even harder than he would have originally expected.
After bowing out of the competition in Dortmund, 'The Asp' sent a message to Littler on Instagram.

Nathan Aspinall’s X-rated message to Luke Littler
Aspinall produced ten 180s in the match - three more than his opponent - but it was due to the fine form of the World No. 1 that he lost the first four legs of the match.

This meant that he was always chasing his opponent, and while he would rally to bring the score back to 5-4 at a point, he would ultimately not have enough to beat his opponent.
Following his loss, Aspinall posted a story on his Instagram, as he sent a message to Littler for the rest of the tournament.
He said: “What a fantastic game of darts to be involved in. Crowd were amazing and even though I lost, I thoroughly enjoyed the match. Game’s in a great place and looking forward to the pro tours next week. Best of luck to that t--- for the rest of the tournament.”
Littler was in fine form on the night despite arriving at this tournament following shock defeats at the World Series of Darts and the World Grand Prix.
This ultimately ended his dreams of a perfect season in the majors. However, he has his attention on the European Championship, a competition he has yet to win and now he appears on track to do so.
Littler will face Krzysztof Ratajski in the quarter-finals after the Pole fought from behind to beat Kevin Doets 10-8.

Luke Littler’s thoughts on his clash with Nathan Aspinall
The teenager will be aware of the impressive performances of Ratajski in the first two rounds of the competition.
Ratajski staged an incredible comeback against Doets, he trailed 8-6 in the closing stages before clinching four legs in a row to seal a victory.
However, Littler will be confident he can progress past the Pole in the competition, particularly due to his impressive performance, as he explained to Sky Sports.
He said: “I'm playing well. I'm feeling really good. There was only one issue in there, but other than that the crowd have been really good.
"I've had a long time off and past results haven't gone my way. I've seen on social media some memes that 'Luke's finished' and this and that.
"I've had long enough to look at them, get on the practice board and forget about it all. Hopefully if I do lift the trophy I can say I've not gone anywhere.
"I've definitely not gone anywhere here with that performance."
