Luke Humphries finally changed his walk-out song on Night 15 of Premier League darts.

Humphries is hoping to close the gap on 17-year-old Luke Littler in the Premier League standings as he seeks a victory on his Leeds homecoming.

And in a bid to fire up the crowd, the World No.1 swapped his usual walk out song of 'Cake By The Ocean', with Kaiser Chiefs classic 'I Predict A Riot' before dispatching Rob Cross 6-1.

Of course, the Kaiser Chiefs also originate from Leeds, with the song having proved popular with the crowd, who bellowed out the chorus.

Humphries had long be criticised for his previous choice of walk out song, originally performed by DNCE.

On X, formally Twitter, one person said: "Luke Humphries is a phenomenal player, probably a nice lad too… but 100% has the deadest walk out song. Cake by the ocean? Naaaah can’t get behind it."

Another said: "Hope that’s Luke Humphries walk out song changed for good."

A third added: "Luke Humphries walk out music is f***ing shocking, how can you be number 1 in the world and walk out to that."

A fourth wrote: "Luke Humphries walk out song is f***ing awful isn’t it."

Humphries hinted at a change in his walk-out sing before his outing against Cross.

He said: “I’ve got a new shirt and it’s Leeds inspired and just for Thursday night.

“It will be the most special Premier League night yet for me. I’ve been looking forward to this one more than any of them.

“It would also be a very special feeling to win. The pressure is off me now having qualified for the O2. I will look forward to enjoying it but really hungry to win as well.

“My mum, dad, brother and girlfriend will all be there. Especially for my dad and brother it will be special because they are Leeds fans as well.

"It’s going to be good to see the reception I get in Leeds. I’m sure it will be emotional.

"If I win it will be right up there with my first major win and obviously winning the Worlds. It won’t be as good but it will be up there.

“I just know the feeling of winning in a city so close to my heart would be incredible. It would mean a lot.

"But regardless of the result, I’m just looking forward to performing in Leeds.”

Littler went into the evening eight points clear at the top of the standings following his triumph in Aberdeen last week.

Elsewhere, the race for a play-off place is heating up, with Nathan Aspinall, Michael van Gerwen, Cross and Michael Smith all eyeing a spot at the O2 Arena at the end of the month.
