Luke Humphries has explained how he ended up with a huge scar on his forehead at the World Grand Prix.
Humphries was in action on Tuesday night as he took on Dave Chisnall in the first-round of the PDC major.
The 31-year-old claimed a 2-0 win at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester but the main talking point was a large scab Humphries sported at the oche.

Luke Humphries reveals all about scar after World Grand Prix win
With such curiosity and concern, Humphries addressed the wound following the victory and revealed all.

'Cool Hand' noticed he had a huge rash on his head which then scabbed over and he believes it likely came from make up products used when he filmed for the classic ITV show 'Bullseye' on Tuesday.
"I really wanted to bring up some amazing story about how I fought five guys off, they come off worse than me," Humphries joked in a press conference filmed by Oche180.
"Unfortunately, I don't have that great story. I did Bullseye filming on Tuesday, woke up Wednesday with a massive rash on the side of my head and it just got worse and worse and then it scabbed over.
"The only thing I can think of is when you do TV shows they put make up on and all these types of things, all these creams.
"I got an allergic reaction to it. Unfortunately there is no great story to tell, that is what I think it is but I don't know.
"I haven't seen a doctor or anything like that but it just looks like I've had an allergic reaction to stuff they've put on my head and face. I'm fully well."
Luke Humphries makes 'Luke Littler' hate admission in World Grand Prix
Humphries was not happy with his performance in the win over Chisnall, admitting it "wasn't good" and he "didn't feel comfortable".
However, he is through to the second round - unlike last year's winner Luke Littler. The world No.1, who beat Humphries 6-1 in the 2025 final, lost to Luke Woodhouse in the opening round on Monday night and will therefore miss out on the £150,000 prize.

The defeat for Littler has left Humphries furious as he was hoping to meet in another final showdown - and believes more pressure could now be on him.
"I hate it when he loses because I want to play him in finals," Humphries admitted.
"I want to beat him in finals. I don't want to lose to him in finals, but I like playing in finals because it gets me up for it.
"When he loses, I'm not like jumping for joy. It puts all the pressure on myself and maybe sometimes it doesn't help me.
"I'd rather him still be in the tournament and be the favourite and then I can just backdoor it to the final!"
