Gian van Veen made an unusual complaint to the PDC at the World Cup of Darts and claimed many of his rivals agreed with him.
Van Veen beat the likes of Charlie Manby and Madars Razma before thrashing Luke Humphries to book his spot in the semi-finals of the World Darts Championship.
He beat former world champion Humphries 5-1 to secure a showdown against two-time world champion Gary Anderson for a spot in Saturday's final.
Speaking after his stunning victory at Ally Pally, the 10th seed told Sky Sports: "I'm so over the moon.

"After the last game, someone asked me if that was the biggest win of my career and I said no, it was the European Championship final.
"Now, it probably is this win tonight."
The 23-year-old, who became the Dutch No.1 with his win over Humphries, has enjoyed a stellar year, having won the European Championship.
He also starred at the World Cup of Darts in the summer, reaching the semi-finals before losing to Wales.

Van Veen teamed up with Danny Noppert for the tournament in Germany.
But he was not entirely happy at the World Cup of Darts after complaining about the shirts.

The Dutchman revealed that he had spoken to the PDC as he had requested an extra-large shirt, but the top he was given was closer to a medium.

Van Veen said: "I asked for an XL, but this feels more like a medium. An XXL would’ve been better. It’s tight, uncomfortable, and feels totally different from my usual shirt.
"A lot of players are saying the same thing. I’ve spoken to the PDC about it and they’ve promised to look into it for next year. But for now, we’ll just have to get on with it. I honestly expected more from Italy. It was much easier than I thought it would be. But it’s a great way to get into the tournament - we’re feeling confident."
Van Veen appears to be wearing better quality shirts at the World Darts Championship given he is just two wins away from becoming a world champion.
