Cricket legend Michael Clarke apologises after altercation with TV presenter Karl Stefanovic

Video emerged of the cricketer in an wild public incident involving his girlfriend and the TV presenter.

Former Australian cricketer Michael Clark has spoken out after video emerged of a public altercation between himself, his girlfriend and TV presenter Karl Stefanovic.

The Daily Telegraph published a video of the former cricket captain arguing with his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough in Noosa.

Yarbrough is the sister of Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine and was reportedly introduced to Clarke by the Today Show host.

Yarbrough can be heard accusing Clarke of infidelity as the cricketer limps around on a presumably hurt leg and without a shirt on.

The Interior Designer yells at Clarke: “You f***ed her on December 17… You f***ed her, you’re a f***ing dog.”

Clarke responds: “Baby, you’re wrong, you’re wrong.”

Yahoo Sports report that Yarbrough appears to slap Clarke a number of times throughout the video.

Clarke can then be seen attempting to get Stefanovic involved in the altercation.

The 41-year-old yells toward the presenter: “Karlos, I can tell you now c**t, don’t you f***ing walk away.

“She can. She can punch me.”

Clarke repeatedly tells Yarbrough that she is wrong.

As Clarke attempts to get the TV presenter involved in the altercation Jade can be heard telling Clarke to not ‘f***ing speak to him’.

The emotionally charged incident looked to be extremely distressing as The Daily Telegraph reports multiple people could be yelling at the group to go elsewhere as ‘there’s children over there’.

Clarke addressed the incident and apologised for his actions in a statement to the Daily Telegraph.

He said: “I’m absolutely gutted I’ve put people I hold in the highest regard in this position.

“My actions in the lead-up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable.

“I am shattered that because of my actions, I’ve drawn women of class and integrity, and my mates, into this situation.”

“I own this fully and am the only one at fault.”

The incident reportedly took place on January 10 near a beachside restaurant in Noosa.
