Kevin De Bruyne and Ruben Dias approaching landmarks - Stat Preview: Wolves vs Manchester City (Premier League)

Manchester City travel to Molineux on Saturday afternoon, looking to move to the top of the Premier League table with a win.

Manchester City are set to lock horns against Wolves at Molineux on Saturday.

After coming back from a goal down to beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the Champions League, Manchester City will enter their upcoming clash against Wolves with their confidence through the roof.

John Stones brilliantly cancelled out Jude Bellingham's opener, before Haaland acrobatically won the game for the Blues in the 84th minute.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side will have their sights set on getting a victory at in the Midlands, after dropping points against Aston Villa away from home in a 1-1 draw in their last league fixture.

City have surprisingly dropped points in their past two away matches in the league, having to also settle for a point against Newcastle last month.

Despite Wolves’ abundance in quality, the results have not been indicative of their quality on paper, with two draws and three defeats in their last five league matches.

While Bruno Lage’s men will be eyeing an upset against City, it is a tall task to stop the Premier League champions that have added an unstoppable Erling Haaland to their ranks.

Ahead of an enthralling Saturday afternoon kick-off, here are the interesting statistics worth giving a read.
