Manchester City are set to lock horns against Nottingham Forest in their upcoming battle on Wednesday night.

After dropping points to Newcastle the Sunday prior, Manchester City certainly bounced back in style courtesy of a dramatic 4-2 victory against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Much like in their clash against the Magpies, City came back from two goals behind, but this time walked away with the all-important three points, courtesy of a brilliant Erling Haaland hat-trick.

After digging in deep to continue their unbeaten start in the Premier League so far, Pep Guardiola’s side will be hoping for a more comfortable win in their upcoming tie against Nottingham Forest.

However, the newly-promoted outfit will aim to make life hell for the hosts, considering they come in to this one off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

After a summer where they have made 19 signings (and counting), Steve Cooper’s side will have their sights set on making an impression on the pitch as well, against Manchester City.

In what promises to be an enthralling fixture at the Etihad Stadium this week, here are the key statistics and potential landmarks worth taking note of!
