Welcome to our comprehensive overview of how Manchester City's sixteen players currently out on loan performed since arriving at their new clubs.

Throughout the course of the season, City Xtra will be providing a round-up of each and every one of Manchester City's loaned out talents and how they have performed across the last month for their respective teams.

The end of July and the entirety of August saw several players get off to a flyer for their new teams, with up to seven appearances being made, as well as a number of assists and clean sheets being recorded.

Before we get started, below you can find a complete list of the players out on loan during July and across August, as well as their new clubs:

Who scored, who assisted, and who kept clean sheets?

During their respective starts to their new careers at loan clubs, a total of four Manchester City players got themselves started when it came to significant contributions on a statistical front.

We start with the stand-out performer of the month - James Trafford at Bolton Wanderers.

The 19 year-old is a mainstay between the sticks for the League One side and has made a total of six appearances so far this season, keeping clean sheets in three matches.

Three Manchester City loan players have also registered a clean sheet each: Taylor Harwood-Bellis at Burnley (seven appearances), Tommy Doyle at Sheffield United (three appearances), and Yangel Herrera at Girona (three appearances).

Who else made appearances during their start at their new clubs?

Zack Steffen has been one of the highest appearance makers out on loan during the start to the season.

The USMNT international has made a total of five appearance between the sticks for Middlesbrough, followed by Diego Rosa at FC Vizela and Lewis Fiorini at Blackpool - both of whom have made four appearances each.

The following players have made three appearances: James McAtee at Sheffield United, Yan Couto, at Girona, and Liam Delap at Stoke City.

The following players have made two appearances: Kayky at Pacos de Ferreira, Nahuel Ferraresi at Sao Paulo, and Callum Doyle at Coventry City.

The following players have made one appearance: Slobodan Tedic at Barnsley, and Issa Kabore at Olympique Lyonnais.

Only one player is yet to register an appearance at their new club, with Cieran Slicker being a back-up goalkeeper at Rochdale during the first few weeks of the season.
