Manchester City drew their English top-flight rivals Liverpool in the draw, and with the World Cup causing plenty of complications for fixture organisers, the match will be played between the final of the tournament and Christmas Eve.
It has now been confirmed that the Carabao Cup fourth round tie between the pair will take place at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday 22nd December, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 GMT.
