Manchester City have secured the signing of Brentford analyst Jack Wilson, who will be joining the club's first-team operation in the coming weeks, a new report has revealed.
While Pep Guardiola has been a mainstay in his position of first-team head coach since the summer of 2016, changes to his backroom staff have been a common theme.
Such changes have largely failed to disturb the rhythm and success of his Manchester City side, and some instead credit the Catalan boss for working and developing coaches and staff members to the point where they are sought after by other clubs from across Europe.
Mikel Arteta is the most notable example of change within Manchester City's backroom team, with the Spaniard going on to become Arsenal's first-team head coach.

Arteta worked alongside Guardiola during a period of high success with the club, most notably the Catalan's first Premier League title-winning season of 2017/18.
However, change is never too far around the corner, and the latest comes in the form of an arrival at the City Football Academy.
According to the information of The Athletic's David Ornstein, Manchester City will welcome the 'highly-regarded' Brentford analyst Jack Wilson, in a role 'focusing on set pieces'.
Wilson is reportedly due to begin work at the Premier League champions' training base in east Manchester during the top-flight's imminent World Cup break.
Coincidentally, Manchester City's next Premier League fixture is against Brentford, however it is highlighted that Wilson will stop work with the London club before they travel to the Etihad Stadium this weekend in order to avoid a conflict of interest.
In addition to his well thought of work with Brentford over the past few seasons, Jack Wilson also has Hearts, Dundee United and the Northern Ireland national team on his CV.
Manchester City are currently the most prolific side in the Premier League this season, with a staggering 39 goals in just 13 matches.

Star striker Erling Haaland has scored more times than nine clubs in the Premier League alone.
However, Pep Guardiola's side have managed just two goals from dead-ball situations, and many supporters will be hoping that the arrival of Wilson will play a part in their fortunes changing on that front, adding a different threat to an already frightening attacking set-up.
Manchester City's Premier League clash against Brentford will be their final top-flight game of the campaign before their players - and many others from across the division - link up with their national teams for the World Cup in Qatar.
Pep Guardiola's side continue to hunt down Mikel Arteta's Arsenal team at the top of the table.
The Gunners currently hold a two-point lead over the reigning champions, and do not face the Etihad club until the early stages of the new calendar year.
