Erling Haaland's 'secret romance' with 'footballer girlfriend' revealed in new report

Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland is enjoying a private relationship with his 'footballer girlfriend', a report has revealed this week.

The Premier League champions' new number nine has enjoyed a blistering start to life at Manchester City.

Following his groundbreaking move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, Erling Haaland has scored a staggering 23 goals in just 18 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side.

His overall goal contribution tally moves up to 26 via a further three assists made by the former RB Salzburg forward.

However, it now seems as though his happiness and success on the pitch is translating to his personal life, with a new update concerning Erling Haaland's relationship status.

It is revealed that the pair have been mutual friends, after growing up together in the Norwegian town of Bryne and both played for the local football side.

Earlier this week, they were both spotted together in Marbella - where Haaland owns a villa - as the Manchester City forward enjoys a period of time off from Pep Guardiola's squad due to Norway's absence from the FIFA World Cup.

The sources told the newspaper, “It seems to be pretty serious.

"Isabel has travelled to Germany and England to see Erling and now she’s been with him in Marbella.

“Isabel is well known for her beauty in Bryne. They’ve always known each other.”

“Erling has the world at his feet - and women queuing up to be his partner," the newspaper relays.

“But he’s a very sensible lad and it makes perfect sense he’s with a girl from his home town who he’s known for years."

The insider continued, “He needs to be able to trust the people in his life and just concentrate on football.”

Erling Haaland is due to return to Manchester City for training in early December, as the squad jet off on a warm weather training camp in Abu Dhabi.

Pep Guardiola will aim to set his players up for the return of competitive football action on 22 December, as Manchester City host Liverpool in the Carabao Cup fourth round.
