Photo leaves fans believing Tyson Fury was never ready for Oleksandr Usyk

Fury should be three weeks short of a huge world heavyweight unification fight but the negotiations broke down with Usyk.

Boxing fans believe that Tyson Fury was never going to be ready for Oleksandr Usyk, after the British boxer posted a photo of himself.

In an ideal world we'd be three weeks away from finding out who was going to be the first undisputed world heavyweight boxing champion since 2002.

Lennox Lewis was the last man to officially hold that title but Fury vs Usyk and Wembley on April 29th would have determined who the next person would be.

However, the fight broke down a couple of weeks ago, with Frank Warren claiming it wasn't his or Fury's fault, although the WBC champion was called out live on television.

The whole breakdown came after weeks of back and forth between the two heavyweights on social media, with the Ukrainian answering every call out.

Anthony Joshua called the whole ordeal a 'shambles,' having himself gone through a similar thing with his fellow Englishman around 18 months ago.

Now fans are once again appear to be turning on former favourite Fury, seeing his latest photo as proof that he was never in shape to fight Usyk.

"Fury definitely not in shape to fight Usyk I think that's the real reason why the fight didn't go through," said one fan.

"Yeah, no way was he fighting Usyk in a few weeks," added a second.

A third sniped, "Training to pull out of another fight."

On the same lines, another queried, "What's he training for exactly?"

"Probably preparing for Chisora 4 or Manuel Charr," noted another, on who Fury might fight next now that the Usyk fight isn't happening.

"For what? Man is absolutely petrified of Usyk," claimed a sixth boxing fan, "And that’s the only fight we want to see anything else is a circus."

Other fans focused on the lack of leg day, Isaac Lowe seemingly training whilst wearing jeans and many felt that Joseph Parker was now 'too big.'

Fury was called out by Joshua, after the latter's recent win over Jermaine Franklin, leading to the chance that the two Brits would finally meet in the centre of the ring.

However, anyone getting excited would have to temper those emotions, with Eddie Hearn revealing that Dillian Whyte is more likely a next opponent for AJ.

Whilst the Gypsy King now has to wait to work out who he'll be facing next, Usyk will likely take on another British fighter, in the form of Daniel Dubois.

The result of that fight could decide who The Ring consider the best in the world right now, with Usyk being given top spot above his rival in the latest rankings.
